David and Rebecca Stabler in the USA

David and Rebecca Stabler have three children. Martina is 11 years old; Noah is 9 years old and Tiffany is 3 years old. The Stabler family has been working with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) since 1990. David did his Discipleship Training School (DTS) on St. Croix in 1990 and ministered on island and throughout the Caribbean for eight years. During this time he met Rebecca, who is from Switzerland, and they married on May 21, 1996.

They spent eight of the last 12 years working with YWAM in Switzerland being trained in as well as training future missionaries in the areas of Bible Study, cross cultural missions, and Biblical Christian Worldview.

They moved to Orlando in the summer of 2009 in order to continue training future missionaries in these areas. YWAM Orlando has 86 full time staff and trains an average of 150 future missionaries a year. YWAM Orlando's vision is to see people trained as missionaries who will go out into the harvest fields of the world. Their strategy to fulfill this vision is to train 20 new ministry teams which will pioneer long term works in China, the Middle East, North Africa, Latin America, and Russia by the year 2020.

YWAM Orlando has just put in a contract to purchase a 200 acre property just outside of Orlando in order to expand and multiply their current training and ministry efforts. The Stabler family will be a part of this training expansion by working to equip these "20/20" teams (through two new training courses) in the areas of Biblical Studies and Biblical Christian Worldview.

David enjoys playing golf from time to time, reading, engaging in discussions on current events, cooking and eating good food, and a host of other activities.

Rebecca enjoys the beach, arranging and decorating photo albums, doing puzzles, playing games, and hanging out with friends.

Martina enjoys swimming and is working hard to be a whale and dolphin trainer when she gets older.

Noah enjoys any type of sport there is available and currently plays football (American football).

Tiffany is a real social bug and has a fascination for shoes and cell phones. She loves talking to people-young and old alike.
